Hiking to one of Lake Tahoe's most beautiful and secluded beaches - "Secret Beach", in addition to hiking up to the majestic Eagle Lake. I can't say what the loop is like but I would certainly recommend taking the Eagle Lake route to and back instead, when given the choice at the trail's fork.
