Koch, co-founder of Koch Industries, Inc., purchased the Matador’s Flying V cattle brand and the “50” horse brand, which had been used by the Scots during their 70-year ownership of the Matador Ranch. Mesquite, Salt Cedar, Willows and Cottonwoods are all common in the river bottom. All divisions of the ranch have a combination of paved and graded county road access.
